Sesquicillin A is a fungal metabolite that has been found in Albophoma.1 It inhibits the growth of A. salina brine shrimp (MIC = 6.25 μg/ml). Sesquicillin is cytotoxic to Jurkat cells (IC50 = 34 μM).
